History
The Hearthstone was founded in 1975 in Muskegon, Michigan and is located on BUS 31 at the corner of Norton Avenue, five minutes from downtown and ten minutes from popular suburban malls. The Hearthstone first gained fame as one of West Michigan's first and only gourmet sandwich, entree salad and and creative made from scratch soup formats. Over the years it has evolved into a West Michigan destination for innovative and contemporary entrees.
The classic Bistro look with intimate, sultry lighting, high-backed booths, cherrywood and large vintage French and Italian bistro posters adorn the interior. Elaborate wine displays and romantic music add to the swank feel of the restaurant. In addition, Al Fresco dining is available in the beautiful European-inspired Garden Terrace in the summer months.
The Hearthstone has always been known for its service and knowledge presentation of daily specials by its well trained service staff. 
The decorated kitchen staff is led by veteran chefs who constantly create innovative and inspired cuisine. Menu items and specialties include our famous Cheddar Cheese Soup with popcorn, French country pâtes, Carpaccio of Beef or Salmon, Chicken Milanese, Steak and Bleu Cheese Tartine, Classic Croque Monsieur, Crispy Flatbreads, Steak and Pommes Frites and Chicken Crepes with Wild Mushrooms. All American favorites include, one-half pound hamburgers, Caesar salad, grilled turkey club, 30 oz Bone-in "Tomahawk" Ribeye steak, Award Winning Almond Brioche crusted Lake Perch and homemade desserts.
The Hearthstone has full bar service and a mostly California 30 plus item wine list. International wines by the glass and bottle are offered daily.
The Hearthstone also features popular annual events such as a Beaujolais Nouveau in November, Oktoberfest celebration and great weekly promotions such as Two Moo Mondays, Inspired Perch Tuesday (two for $20) and Flatbreads and Craft Beers every Wednesday.
